Recently Apple introduced the latest iteration of its famous mobile OS iOS 11 at WWDC 2017. iOS 11 will be widely rolling out to the users in coming months and developers have already got their hands on the preview version of iOS 11.

Updates for iPad
Similar to Mac OS, iOS 11 for iPad brings a drag and drop option to switch between apps and a toolbar which is a reminiscent of the ones found on Mac computers. It also includes a files section that pulls all files and third party apps like OneDrive, Google Drive, DropBox etc.
Do not disturb while driving
With iOS 11, Apple has introduced a new feature which knows when users are driving. If it detects that the users are driving, it will trigger a new "Do Not Disturb While Driving" mode. This mode will turn off the iPhone screen and it will also send automatic replies telling contacts that the user is driving.
Redesigned control centre
iOS 11 brings a refreshed Control Centre for iPhones which features a simpler look, fitting on a single page with sliders and key functions. By using 3D touch, you can press for more details or more options. The overall look is de-cluttered compared with previous iOS 10.

In iOS 11, iMessage will now synchronize messages across devices. So, if you delete a message in one app, then it will get deleted across all devices. It will also feature a new toolbar for emoji and stickers for ease of use. Another important update is the addition of Apple Pay as an app to iMessage with which you can instantly send payments.
With iOS 11, users can now have more control on their apps. Apple has included several new features to enhance user experience. iOS developers can make use of the relevant APIs and frameworks to make their app compatible with iOS 11. Coming to the business aspect, Apple has introduced Business Chat feature in which users can get answers to their questions from Safari, Maps, Spotlight, and Siri.
