ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a prominent player in the logistics space with over 1000’s of trucks and wanted to migrate from a vintage windows application to a new web-based interface with mobile access.
This a web based logistic application that has the customer, order, dispatch, warehouse, accounting and resource management all under one roof. The system is designed in a way that the data flow in a seamless fashion and the various departments can get a real time insight and make efficient plans.
All the features have been kept simple and the users can be self-trained. This integrates the various modules and departments to work together on one platform. The system is integrated with mapping program and this allows the dispatcher to plan efficiently ahead with the alerts on the customer and routing schedules.
The order management module is controlled by an admin driven pricing configurations. So the system can be extended quickly to support any new changes. Resource allocation department uses the calendar feature of the product to address their needs. This gives access to sales people to book their customer slots quickly online.
